Ok so today i decided to take a shot at the $75K Guarantee on Cake Poker tonight. The buy in was $109 (well over what i should be playing on my roll) but the risk is so slight and the potential reward is HUUUUUUUUGE @ ~16K. Anyway, I ran horrible. Absolutely horrible. In fact i think i played 2 hands the first hour alone. These two hand were basically enough to keep me above the 3k starting chips, but not by very much... and then this hand came up.

Ok so understanding how tight I was playing the KQ call really upset me, but as you can see i got my money in the middle with the best hand. According to Cardplayer.com, my winning percentage is 51.61% opposted to 19.20% and 24.47% respectively. It just wasn't my day obviously.
On a side note, a very good friend of mine Carder England ( + to the EV! ) as been ripping up tournaments lately. He chopped the $109 for $7011.90 and took 2nd place in the Nightly 100K $162 buyin for $13,500. To quote Dan Steele...
Must
Be
Nice
sir!
In all seriousness, congrats to this guy. He just crushes these tourneys. I can't wait to see how he does in a few big live events.
